Setup Instructions Macintosh Computers

1. Install FreePPP v2.5 on your system. You can obtain this from shareware.com.

2. Open up FreePPP. Click on the triangle in the lower left hand corner.

3. In FreePPP Setup:

   Under the General Tab

   New Check "Allow applications to open connection" Check "check line every 20 seconds" Click on the modem Setup button Connected to Select Modem Port Check "Modem Speaker on While Connecting" Check "Hangup on Disconnect" Check "Use Init string from account configuration" Click "ok"

   Under the Accounts Tab

   New Server name: Lazerlink Phone number: (814)238-6001 User Name: (your user id) Password: (your assigned password Select on "Using Connection Script" Click on "Edit Connection Script" Click "ok"

4. In your Control Panel suitcase in System Folder, select Mac TCP. If it is not there, install it from your system disk.

   Highlight only FreePPP
   Click on "More"
   Gateway:
   Under Obtain Adress: Select "Server"
   Under IP Address: Input Class "A"
   Under Domain Name Server Information:

   Domain lazerlink.com

   IP Address 199.234.153.40

   Default Check

5. Reboot your computer for the changes to take effect.
